Mission Aviation Fellowship South Africa, working in Southern Africa, is a ministry team centred in Jesus Christ. As part of His church, we actively seek to witness the Gospel of Christ and extend His Kingdom through the use of aviation; by providing an efficient and effective air service to the Church, and strategically positioning our staff for ministry and witness worldwide. We are part of a world-wide organisation operating in over 40 countries. In Africa there are programmes active in 22 countries. We operate from our own purpose built hangar on the South Side of Lanseria International Airport (next to NAC) where we run all the training courses and hangar our aircraft. All the pilot training courses that MAF provides are bespoke and individually tailored to the needs of the pilot under training.Our purpose is to multiply the effectiveness of the church using aviation and logistical support, to help overcome barriers in reaching the world for Christ.
