Mission Himalaya was founded in July 2008 by a group of socially committed professionals like teachers, tourism entrepreneurs and social workers. It is registered with the Office of the Company Registrar, Government of Nepal as Company not Distributing Profit to help rural and back tracked community of Nepal. We are committed to reaching out to those in need our primary target being, providing proper Education to the orphans of economically backward communities, providing free healthcare services, building clinics , building free Learning shelters and Schools and providing proper Healthcare services through free of charge Health camps in the most remote areas of Nepal.Our Primary Project:Self sustaining Eco Home for Orphaned and Abandoned ChildrenA safe haven for orphaned children, who have been neglected and discarded by the society. To provide a loving home, where we help nurture these children into becoming loving adults who will in return be useful citizens.Even though we are a small not-for-profit organization, we have taken a pledge to help the rural communities of Nepal. Our mission is to reach out to as many rural areas as possible, identify the locals' needs, and help with basic Healthcare, Education and Livelihood sustenance.Rural Eye and Medical missions and outreach programsRural Health camps and Free Eye Surgical camps : The Concept is to reach out to communities in rural Nepal , where they have very little access to Healthcare. We bring in specialized teams of foreign doctors and Medical Volunteers, who work along with Local doctors to provide free Medical Check ups, Medicine, Eye Surgeries and Counselling.
