Farming - Stockbridge, Michigan, United States
Misty Lane Farm is operated by the Miller family on 120 acres in Stockbridge Michigan. We raise our sheep on pastures and buy hay and corn from a neighboring farm. In winter, the sheep are fed stored hay and housed indoors in a large barn with access to the outside as weather allows. Our Katahdin lambs are hair sheep and said to have a milder taste than breeds that have wool. Customers like our farm-to-table business because our lamb is pastured in Michigan, sustainably raised without antibiotics, and supportive of the local economy.
