That is what happened when Shivakumar Balakrishnan started building his 400 Crore empire that he now operates across 35 countries giving not just jobs but lives to many.Fondly called by his friends as Shiva, made a humble beginning as a medical representative 30 years back. With sheer determination and hard work, he today operates a 600-crore business activity that has an international pharma marketing company, a trading company, and a manufacturing company. His group has footprints in more than 35 countries across the world. And then he identified his calling in life, his swadharma, and is now involved in Natural farming, more often called Organic Farming of ONLY traditional Indian crops that include vegetables, pulses, rice, and fruits.Located by the Bhavani Dam near Sathyamangalam, Erode District, in Nilgiri & Germalam, his 106 Acres farm is a USDA/EU certified organic farm. It boasts of all native varieties of vegetables that are now being supplied to Coimbatore, Chennai, Pollachi, Tiruppur, Ooty, and Erode as farm-to-home concepts, where the vegetables are being delivered directly from farm to consumer. His mission in life is to convert at least 500,000 acres of Chemical farmland into naturally farmed lands. His farm was chosen by the PMO as a model farm for sustainable large-scale organic farming and more recently was selected as the most innovative farmer of the year by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (An ICAR body) and also recognized and a certified training school for organic farming. His Vision is to empower every single family in this nation to be able to consume naturally grown Organic food and live Healthily. As Living Healthy begins with Eating Healthy!
