Mithiwood is an international Film Festival organized by the students of the Mithibai College. This annual festival provides young talents with a lucrative platform to showcase their directorial prowess, composition skills and to enhance their artistic impressions. Launched in 2019 with great vigour and zeal, the idea of ‘Mithiwood' was transpired to our life as a common ground for all film enthusiasts to gather, contribute and engage to take our appreciation a notch higher. Mithiwood Film Festival is a celebration of the art of not only filmmaking but also acting and intelligence of the students, by the students, and for the students. It is the largest Film Festival in Mumbai and fastest growing Film Festival of India organized by college students. With the combined efforts of the team, this year Mithiwood was able to get more than 1500 entries from 85+ countries and a massive viewership of 1 lakh+. Despite all the odds this year, Mithiwood was back with a bang, with a much larger global participation and a ground-breaking vision. Along with a diverse array of exciting mind stimulating events and celebrity talk-shows, Mithiwood brought an unique theme - Digital Red Carpet into attention. Everyone has a dream to walk on the Red Carpet. Making this dream a reality is all that Mithiwood strives for.
