Founded in Auckland, New Zealand by two Canadians, we set out with a mission to have fun, create a show stopping product, and have a wine along the way. Having both worked for a coworking space, we learned the importance of event planning and the impact of catering - to let the host rest easy during their big event. With catering requests coming in like rapid fire, we opened a business one evening and catered for 120 people the next morning. We have now catered numerous events for global companies, social influencers, corporate functions and athletic associations. In October 2018, we moved the business from Auckland to Toronto and it is now solely owned by Jess and supported by her original cofounder, Deb, from across the pond. With new faces to added to the team, we are ready to roll for big or small events across the city. Mix & Maple is setting out to make an impact in the hyper local community through partnerships and donations globally through eco-friendly practices.
