Mixed Pears makes products for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to feed the bodies and nurture the minds of young children.We design and make high-quality baby and kid products that we wished existed when we were new parents and that other parents would love to own. We are passionate about food and about making sure that our own children grow up eating real food and appreciating the wide variety and textures of foods the world over. The company and all product development has been bootstrapped. As the founders we are a "mixed pair" ourselves: a mixed-culture, multi-lingual family with two boys (3 years, and 4 months) that we have been raising in Taipei, Taiwan and Burlington, Vermont.Mixed Pears makes BiteSizers Mealtime Scissors. BiteSizers™ are easy-to-use, convenient toddler and baby food scissors. They make it easy for parents and caregivers to quickly prep and share their food with children anywhere. With BiteSizers we aim to promote healthy eating by exposing kids early to the full range of flavors and textures in real food.
