MJWPU Details

We are a regional government unit of the Mazovia Voivodeship since 2007. We have been implementing EU funds for over 10 years. In the EU 2007-2013 perspective, we distributed nearly PLN 10 billion. The transferred funds allowed local governments, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations to implement over 7.3 thousand projects.In the current EU perspective 2014-2020, we will transfer over PLN 8 billion under the Regional Operational Program of the Mazovia Voivodship. We deploy EU support mainly to local governments, business, science and non-governmental sectors.We support projects related to the development of the R & D sector: conducting scientific research, introducing innovations and increasing the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), as well as projects related to increasing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and strengthening the institutional potential and effectiveness of public administration, hospitals, cultural institutions.Funds are also allocated to projects related to environmental protection or the use of its resources: transition to a low-carbon economy, sustainable transport, adaptation to climate change.We also co-finance projects aimed at increasing the quality of life of residents and concerning: employment and labor mobility, social inclusion and combating poverty, investing in education and lifelong learning. We have a history of international cooperation with many regions in Europe e.g. German programme „Integration durch Austausch" or an Italian programme for improving youth skills for an ecosustainable economy in the Piedmont region.Additional information can be found at www.funduszedlamazowsza.eu and at the Information Points of European Funds throughout Poland.
