From its humble beginnings in 1984, the Milwaukee Wave has evolved and grown to be a national success with 6 championships and a leader in community outreach. As the oldest continuously operating professional soccer team in North America, the Milwaukee Wave has had the unique ability to make a positive impact in their community while carrying on their reputation as a winning team. The MKE Wave is part of the The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). The new league, consisting of professional indoor soccer teams from the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) and the former Major Indoor Soccer League MISL), was formed to create a new super-league. The 24-team, Major Arena Soccer League, will be divided into four 6-team divisions based on geography. The new league will feature the top professional indoor teams from the United States and Mexico. The 24-team Major Arena Soccer League is composed of: The Milwaukee Wave, Chicago Mustangs, Detroit Waza Flo, Syracuse Silver Knights, Harrisburg Heat, Baltimore Blast, Cincinnati Saints, Texas Strikers (Beaumont, TX), Rochester Lancers, St. Louis Ambush, Brownsville (TX) Barracudas FC, Dallas Sidekicks, Tulsa Revolution, Monterrey (MEX) Flash, Hidalgo (TX) La Fiera FC, Saltillo (MEX) Rancho Seco, Mexico Toros (Tijuana, MEX), San Diego Sckers, Tacoma Stars, Ontario (CA) Fury, Las Vegas Legends, Turlock (CA) Express, Wicheta B52s, Missouri Comets (Kansas City).The MKE Wave is excited to announce a new coaching staff in veteran players Giuliano Oliviero and Nick Vorberg. MASL play is slated to begin late October of 2014.
