My name is Alysha and here is my story on how created MK's Music Management. I was always listening to up and coming artists wishing people could hear their music because they had such great potential. I never thought of being a manger for an artist. It never crossed my mind that it was something that I could do. I moved to NYC after graduating college spending most of my time studying for a master's degree in graduate school. The drive and passion for up and coming artists never stopped in my mind. One night studying for an exam I began thinking, what am I doing, I do not want to spend my time doing something I am not passionate about. One night I decided to reach out to this one artist who was not big, but I knew had great potential. Keep in mind I had no experience, no management experience, no connections, all I had was my passion and love for music. This was the turning point for me, this musician decided he would take a chance on me and meet me. I knew at this point it was time to go for my dreams and pursue my passion. It was time to let go of what was safe and enter into the unknown. This is just the beginning of my story and look forward to what's ahead!
