MOBA is a progressive modular housing solution designed for housing emergencies generated by natural disasters and informal settlements -Progressive: provides the users a base house that includes in its functionality the possibility of expanding their homes as the family grows and funds become available. This can be done economically, easily, and without disrupting the original design. -Modular: The houses growth is by means of easily transported, ready to use modules that are added onto to the base house in matters of hours. These modules are prefabricated, made of precast concrete, fireproof, hurricane-proof, have acoustic and thermal insulation and are built using environmentally friendly materials. Together all of these characteristics have great social acceptance amongst victims of natural disasters. -Housing: More than just temporary emergency shelter, this solution provides high standard, dignified, permanent housing. -Solution: One integrated solution to two problems, emergency, and permanent housing. The MOBA houses are built from prefabricated concrete panels made in mobile factories. In the process of construction, these panels are mounted and assembled, defining the walls and slabs of houses. Subsequently, the houses will be painted and finished to be transported to the site, as a complete and finished unit, ready to be inhabited immediately. In addition to excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, the walls of these houses have in the interior all the necessary plumbing and electrical pipes. This prevents the user from building risky external piping installations. The PRE-MOLD construction system allows these homes to have more than 100 years of durability with minimal maintenance cost, great flexibility and the follow advantages: _Reducing the time it takes in a 50% compared with traditional bricks construction. _Saving up to 40% of energy consumption per year due to the thermal insulation of the houses.
