mô băks': n. Derived from "Mobile Access"Mobax Networks was founded with a strong focus towards Fixed-Mobile-Internet Convergence (FMIC) in 2000. The company is directed by Silicon Valley professionals with a consistent track record in delivering innovative products and solutions spanning three decades. An earlier start-up incubation venture by our team pioneered the industry-first Internet Fax router which was acquired by Ramp/Nokia. Our first product was a mobile application exchange for the machine-to-machine (M2M) industry to facilitate remote control of machinery (MRO) using mobile devices. When dot com bubble burst, we went on to help shaken start-ups with research and development partnerships to survive and roll out new products. We were involved in successfully delivering several mobile applications and real time communications stacks for handsets. These ended up in 40 million FOMA handsets in the world's leading mobile network operator – NTT DoCoMo. The communications stacks were used by major handset manufacturers and mobile software integrators – Panasonic, Pantech, Sharp Labs, Teleca etc.We gained experience in developing and testing mobile software for zero defect delivery. We went on to build a unique test automation framework called miTester. This framework is for testing SIP and RTP protocols and increasing the testing efficiency. miTester is now released to the broader software community under an open source license.Mobax team is made up of a unique combination of Internet technologists, communications specialists and B2B-B2C professionals. In the past few years, we see the need for converged communications in delivering business messages across multiple channels – mobile, online, digital signs, TV, radio, newspaper etc. Now the team's combined expertise is focused on creating an effective way for businesses and brands to interact with consumers.
