Mobcow Entertainment is an independent record label and an events activation company serving the South African music and entertainment industry. Launched in 2008, it is fully owned and managed by Marvin "Dans Moore" Levendal - a passionate artist, social entrepreneur, events activation specialist and a hip hop/R&B musical production expertAs a forward-thinking organisation, Mobcow believes in forming collaborative partnerships with dynamic and talented musicians by helping them to mobilize their entrepreneurial vision using various technologies and expertise. Many are already familiar with the Mobcow brand for hosting multiple urban events by the likes of Lyrical Warfare and Hip Hop Wednesday nights throughout a variety of entertainment venues in Cape Town. In 2015 Mobcow released the Eclipse EP by Bazason an artist managed by the label. The EP went on to spawn a no.1 hit nationally and received nomination nods at the All Africa Music Awards as well as the Ibiza Music Video Festival Awards.Mobcow is particularly known for producing and releasing the debut album Sub-Conscious by hip hop/R&B group Suburban Menace, landing them a no 1 SA top 10 single Never Again in 2009.
