Libra Ultria⢠By Mobile ProSense My partner and I formed Mobile ProSense last year to commercialize our health and fitness product- the Libra Phone. Both of us have led, and been a part of, numerous start-up companies and we are product development experts. Calorie recording, in the consumer health and fitness market, is currently tedious and inaccurate. There are wearable devices, from Apple and Nike, that track exercise and there are bathroom scales that talk with your smart-phone. No product is available to make calorie consumption easy to track. Our business model will use our proprietary technology to segment the market into different price-performance levels. First, we will develop a small wireless weighing scale and mobile phone app. It will be the most convenient to use scale in the kitchen and for weighing high-value personal items. Next we will develop a website and image analysis software to determine portion sizes of food items on a plate. At a restaurant, or home, a whole plate of food can be quickly analzed allowing the user to enjoy their meal and later log onto our website to complete the record keeping.
