Mobile Systems Research Labs (MSRL) are part of the Institute of Computing Science, Faculty of Computing and Information Science, Poznan University of Technology. Laboratories are headed by Mikolaj Sobczak, Ph. D. Poznan University of Technology (PUT) is a ten-faculty university that educates about 20'000 students in 18 fields. High level of education, qualifications of the teaching and research staff and conducted research make it one of the best technical universities in Poland. The MSRL team consists of about fifty highly qualified researchers (including Ph. D. students and postdocs) from various disciplines (IT, electronics, automatics, mechatronics, graphic arts, etc.) and several administrative persons. The key specialities are mobile technology in various appliances, mesh networks, advanced navigation and mobile devices for special purposes. MSRL are also involved in construction of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles fully equipped with mobile devices designed specially for them which are used for navigation, mission planning, image recognition, sophisticated measurements, autonomous and swarm operations.
