Mobile World Day Association is a non-profit founded in Barcelona (Spain) for the sole purpose of promoting the proclamation by the international organizations of the Mobile World Day.Mobile World Day aims to celebrate a technology that is helping to improve the quality of life for people around the world. Society is being transformed through the integration of solutions within a digital ecosystem where the person is the center around which the mobile technology generates value.Mobile World Day should contribute effectively to the achievement of the objectives of sustainable development and could be a new and innovative source of financing for development. Member States of the United Nations could create a Group of Friends of the Mobile World Day.Mobile World Day Association invites civil society organizations and private sector to adhere to the Manifesto "Mobile for good and for all" to join efforts and advocate for the proclamation of this International Day.
