MobileDx is a company that creates "apps" for mobile phone medicine. We specialize in apps for eyecare including Ophthalmology and Optometry. See our two most popular apps, EyePhotoBill and EyeSnapi. Tamer Abuelata and Dr. Harvey A. Fishman co-founded MobileDx in 2010. Mr. Abuelata has extensive experience in software design and architecture. He has worked at Palm, Handspring, BEA and Silicon Valley Start-ups. Dr. Fishman is an MD PhD Ophthalmologist from Stanford who has extensive background in research and technology. In the late 90's, he was one of the first users of ePocrates for the Palm Pilot. The mission of MobileDx is to bring healthcare professionals and their patients close together through affordable mobile technology. In doing so, MobileDx aims to revolutionize medicine by removing the limitations of distance and time and to be the leader in mobile medicine. MobileDx believes that medicine is following the same trend, and that doctors and their patients should be able to benefit from web and mobile technology to improve the effectiveness, convenience, efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of healthcare. We aim to create the technological infrastructure, systems and mobile applications that will enable doctors and patients to make the transition to medicine 2.0.
