MobiWize develops software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based platform powered by Horizon-Predictive BIG Data infrastructure that transforms Vehicle-Road-Driver data into actionable intelligence. The platform is powered by unique set of Horizon Prediction technologies that can auto-map through crowd-sourcing 3D road geometry and additional layers of road-driver-vehicle data using small-footprint embedded maps. The system is using data from vehicle computers, sensor technologies and (MobiWize crowd-sourced) 3D digital maps, combined with sophisticated data mining and signal processing algorithms to create "Virtual Sensors" offering predictive vehicle/driver/road intelligence with unmatched data accuracy and insights that do not exist today. With MobiWize powered Horizon Prediction technology, the vehicle anticipates specific driving situations and then alerts the driver or automatically regulates adaptive cruise control, engine or transmission performance to achieve optimal performance. The system achieves maximum fuel-economy, lowers emissions, improves vehicle health and increases safety, all of which results in lower operating costs and a safer ride. In addition, the company offers GPS Assistant technology that improves vehicle positioning accuracy – "Must Have" for advanced connected-vehicles applications.
