MODemay Entertainment Inc. was created by Marie-Odile Demay in 2008 following several years experience in the distribution and financing of performing-arts programming for television, in collaboration with L'Équipe Spectra.MODemay Entertainment Inc. is an international Canadian distributor whose aim is to develop and market quality performing-arts and music television programs with Canadian and international partners.THE SERVICESNational and international distributionMODemay Entertainment's distribution catalogue consists of more than 600 titles from the libraries of Équipe Spectra and Rhombus Media combined. In both cases, the company benefits from exclusive worldwide distribution rights.Other producers are being approached with the objective of expanding the catalogue, always in the field of the arts.Financing of television projects in developmentMODemay may act as executive producer by financing production projects, with a particular specialization in the international market. This financing dimension is as important for Canadian productions being financed abroad as for foreign productions seeking to complete their financing in Canada.International co-productionsSome large-scale projects requiring international financing are best carried out in the framework of co-production. It is therefore often appropriate to bring a Canadian producer together with a producer from a foreign country. MODemay currently enjoys an exclusive agreement with Équipe Spectra covering any national or international co-production.Management and supervisionThis involves any long-term service having to do with management support, with overseeing a project, a division or a sub-distributor. Also possibly involved is the monitoring of exploitation rights such as DVD rights, musical rights, and so on.
