The newest exhibit, "esherick to NAKASHIMA," will focus on the Studio Arts movement and how both Wharton Esherick and George Nakashima used wood to tell a story.Come be captivated by the works of internationally acclaimed woodworker George Nakashima and Wharton Esherick, the "Dean of American Craftsmen." This exquisite selection of Nakashima's work demonstrates how he used wood to expose the soul of a tree, believing that trees yearn to live again, perhaps to provide the beauty, strength, and utility to serve man, and even become an object of great artistic worth.
