MoFundamentals (MoABC) is an adoptee-led arts program focused on transforming the trauma of foster care into a celebration of resiliency. Having lived experience in the child welfare system, MoABC Founder Gabriel saw programs supporting youth with a lens of trauma. Instead, MoFundamentals, uses the lens of resiliency to celebrate the growth and success of foster and adoptee youth. Through MoFundamentals his mission is to create spaces for youth to grieve, process, heal and speak about their truth in foster care filling in the gap of what is needed to transform and abolish this traumatic system.
