Momentous Change Ltd is a niche consultancy to help organisations manage change with two Founding Directors: Michelle Thomson and Roger Mullin. Change in recent years has become ever more pervasive, and the rate of change is accelerating. Many of the beliefs and apparent certainties of the past have disintegrated. Thomson and Mullin, given their backgrounds in facilitating and researching change, are uniquely placed to assist others to understand and manage events as they unfold. Momentous Change Ltd's flagship project addresses how businesses are planning for Brexit and has thus far involved in-depth engagement with over 160 senior business leaders from Scottish businesses. An interim report (released on Monday 13 November 2017 ahead of a 2018 full report) highlights that a more nuanced understanding of attitudes towards Brexit is needed. It suggests the most challenging divide is not between those who support and those who condemn leaving the EU, but rather the different approaches businesses are taking to addressing the future.Further projects are in the pipeline.
