Momentum Technologies turns electronic trash into treasure. We work with Li-ion battery recyclers and manufacturers to recover their critical materials from waste for reuse. Using our exclusive MSX technology developed & patented by the U.S. Department of Energy, we can efficiently recover Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Aluminum, Manganese, Lithium, Terbium, Dysprosium, Neodymium and Praseodymium from spent Li-ion batteries and high-powered Rare Earth magnets. MSX has a lower cost than any approach in the market. Plus, we can scale to any size, which allows us to move the processing closer to the source of the material, eliminating shipping costs and associated carbon emissions. In 2021, Momentum became an inaugural member of Halliburton Labs clean energy accelerator.In 2020, Momentum's Li-ion recycling technology was featured at #2 in the World Materials Forum's Top 10 Technologies.In 2019, a commercial scale demonstration plant was built at Oak Ridge National Lab.
