Motion Pictures & Film - Keene, New Hampshire, United States
Held the third week in April, the Monadnock International Film Festival (MONIFF) showcases award-winning documentary and fiction films on the festival circuit along with premieres of regionally produced films by local filmmakers. The highlight of the festival is the Jonathan Daniels Award in honor of Keene's Civil Rights hero and given to a filmmaker whose work fuses artistic excellence with social and/or political awareness around a timely issue. Guest filmmakers interact with audiences during post screening Q&A's and lively panel discussions, plus mingle with our attendees during networking after parties at local venues. In addition to the annual four-day festival, MONIFF offers year-round community screenings, programs and events designed to enrich the quality of social life, support youth education, and contribute to the vibrant art culture in the Monadnock Region.
