Monarch Wind Power is developer of commercial-scale community-based wind energy generation. We believe community-based distributed wind energy generation can achieve the cost efficiencies of utility-scale projects without sacrificing the well-documented benefits of local involvement and participation in renewable energy projects that have been found to retain more jobs and income in the local community than utility-scale projects. Our ultimate goal is to become the economic engine for rejuvenating rural economies based on a strategy that emphasizes the community's comparative advantages in producing sustainable and affordable sources of energy, preferably for local use.
