Mongoose Income Fund, LLC ("MIF") is in the business of producing income for its investors and lenders by buying at discount and managing the collection of automobile retail installment contracts ("RIC") or car loans. Its management believes that it can produce over the life of its portfolios profits for its equity investors with monthly distributions of net cash flow and sound loan obligations for lenders who purchase its 10% Yield Senior Secured Notes ("Notes") with monthly payments due December 31, 2013. MIF strives to produce better results in less time than investments that are commonly available to investors in the public market. MIF's securities do not trade on public exchanges; a tradeoff in investing in MIF is that the Fund projects that it will require generally three years for an equity investor or a purchaser of its Senior Notes to get back its principal investment with a profit or loss. MIF is required by its charter to distribute monthly its net cash flow. MIF distributes everything it collects net of fees and operating expenses to its investors rather than reinvesting the funds in other car loans.
