It is our mission to provide patients with the ability to easily monitor for shunt performance at home, and to increase patient peace of mind regarding overall shunt functionality. MonitorMed Solutions integrates sensors into shunts to make it easier for patients to know when to visit a physician for shunt-related problems. We believe that we can bring peace of mind to our users by allowing them to access data on shunt functionality in the palm of their hand. Our product is based on IP developed in the Biomedical Engineering Department of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
