It was back in '71 when we first got together...Gids wanted to open a bar but we talked him into becoming an international rock god with the rest of us instead, he plays drums by the way!"The MonkeyNuts" took Crouch End by storm, who can forget the crazy summer of ‘71 when "Monkey See Monkey Do" shot straight to number 27 in the charts!Steakhouse:Ah, those were the days, but times change and so, 34 years, 20 albums and 60 changes of musical direction later, we finally listened to Gids, hung up our catsuits and returned to our spiritual home to open the bar and steakhouse we promised him all those years ago. These days he organises everyone backstage.Great Steaks:After a lot of persuasion, we finally convinced Jordan to join us, as we all know how great he is working in the kitchen grilling great steaks and tossing salads. Nick charms our locals and can't help singing a tune every time he takes an order, with Zindo making up the rest of the team.We currently run two sites, Crouch End and newly opened Whetstone along with two sister sites: Chez Bob in Belsize Park and Chooks on Muswell Hill Broadway however we aim to grow in the coming months so watch this space....
