mono office is an experimental design practice that operates at the intersection of architecture, urbanism and product design. Our ethos is to bridge across an ethnographical approach to aesthetics – emphasizing the relationship between local communities, cultural development and craftsmanship - and a scientific research that pursues innovation, in search of the new, leveraging technologies, workflows and models of production seen in disciplines outside our own.Our young team of architects, researchers, planners and designers offers a multidisciplinary set of skills with the dedicated, innovative approach of a small practice. mono.o operates also within a global network of experienced professional partners and institutions with whom we actively collaborate to produce cutting-edge solutions for the problems that our different clients pose. mono office was established in 2018 and has now offices in Madrid and Beijing.
