Monte Saraz is a eighteenth-century Alentejo farming estate at the foot of the Roman stronghold Monsaraz. Here the owner receives guests, who are looking for repose, tranquillity and inspiration to recharge the battery at any time of the year. Monte Saraz is a privileged space, in which to rest or follow a workshop far away from the confusion of the city. Guests can stay in comfortable, separate farmhouses or in suites located in the main building, all furnished and decorated in a rustic Minimalist style.The estate (‘Monte') is surrounded by bird-song and by the renown olive grove of Pega. The houses give direct access to gardens dotted by ponds covered in water-lilies and to a citrus fruit orchard.
