But our need for a pleasant, nurturing home never leaves us.Monterey Bay Adult Day Care provides Adult and Senior Care that is easily accessible from either Monterey or Santa Cruz County, in a bright and clean country residence. We pride ourselves on an atmosphere of safety, community, and dignity, while helping disabled and/or elderly citizens with daily care.In addition to offering nutritious meals, entertaining activities, and educational talks, we provide peace of mind to caregivers who need to go to work during the day or require occasional respite care for their parent or spouse while they take time to take care of themselves.How is our adult and senior day care different?Monterey Bay Adult Day Care is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, Adult/Senior Day Care home that puts the needs of those it serves first. It is the passion of founder Ruth Martin, who has worked in hospitals and senior facilities in both Europe and The United States. She has extensive experience in home care and is familiar with many different styles of elder care. She has worked with Hospice patients, senior groups, doctors, home care agencies and the End of Life Coalition Steering Committee and understands the many issues elders face as they live their golden years.
