We do slow architecture. But why slow?The term slow is often associated with negative aspects due to the fast pace we move with nowadays (delays, low productivity, poor efficiency, etc.). However, when it comes to design the word slow means choosing quality against quantity, local against global, natural against synthetic, crafted against mass-production, efficient against magnificent.Slow architecture is both responsible and responsive with the environment and the climate, it relates to a context and to the specific needs of the people that inhabit it. It's a human-and-context based architecture which pursues the creation of made-to-measure projects and spaces with sou where the attention to detail is key. It´s a conscious way of working which seeks balance between economics, the client needs and the context.
