I got my professional start touring with Welsh rocker John Cale (Velvet Underground.)I have been (and continues to be,) the primary bassist for Suzanne Vega since 1985, and played on her grammy-nominated hit song "Luka."Since then I have recorded and/or performed with Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, Jonatha Brooke, Jorma Kaukonen, Phoebe Snow, Dar Williams, and Bette Midler, among many others.As a session player, writer, and producer, I continue to be an active member of the New York music scene, recording, touring the world, as well as acting as musical director for several up-and-coming new artists.Listen to my podcast at: https://thesongwhisperers.buzzsprout.com
