Moody Space Centre is an Initiative to develop Australian sovereign capability and Industrial reliance through space based technologies. With the development of a space Launch/pad centre in Queensland, Australia, MSC wish to bring together a group of local and international space/aerospace/technology/defence sector companies interested in operating in Australia at such a Centre. Our Vision is simple, Launch Pad at Rockhampton, Test Facility at Woomera, Space Agency at Adelaide and Canberra.Interorbital Systems USA would be our chief supplier of launch services, rockets, nano satellites, micro satellites and satellite parts. We wish to create a strong STEM partnerships and have various entities onboard.The centre would be capable of launching satellites, spacecraft and sub orbital Vehicles both by air delivery systems and rocket delivery systems, conduct advanced space based scientific, technology and medical research, STEM Programs and develop Soverign Capability.We seek to establish a local supply and logistics chain and use local Australian, manufacturers & fabricators to produce rockets, satellite parts, we will also use existing Australian rail networks & port Facilities for Delivery and Export to create New Industry. seek to establish the much needed surrounding technology Infrastructure to make the centre technically viable and capable. We seek federal, state and local government assistance to make this venture a reality.
