Founded by Maxine Tromp & Nichola Tromp in 2013. MOON was manifested & created out of their love for fashion trends in April of that year.MOON is based in Benoni, East of Johannesburg. Maxine originally began selling clothing from her parents home and on her Facebook account, and later, opened a physical store and website. With the help and support from her amazing mom; they together as a team, made the MOON dream into a reality.Maxine got her BA degree in Visual Communication, Branding and Advertising at Vega School of Branding in 2010; and furthured her studies at Studio 05 School of fashion and recieved her diploma in Fashion Merchandising and Buying.MOON is a South African retailer that specializes in fashion for young men & women. We are a fast-fashion, street wear inspired clothing brand. Sourcing super trendy items both locally and abroad.MOON voices pop culture through their grand concept for fashion merchandising and trend forecasting.The store was named MOON, the name inspired by Maxine's nick-name her Mother gave her growing up.
