We are Moon Festival, the first programme of activities in the world to celebrate the moon and its role as a global icon before, during and after the first human walked on its surface in July 1969.Over 3-days we will talk about the Moon in more ways than anyone has ever done before, reaching more people than the Apollo 11 Mission did through the combined power of live events and digital. Collaborating with local, national ands global partners, Moon Festival will take place on street corners, in squares, digital spaces, parks, shops, museums in Woolwich, around London, and across the planet between19-21 July 2019.
