The Moot Court Committee is the official student body for conducting and managing mooting activities at National Law University, Jodhpur. The Committee consists of members from five batches of the B.A.LL.B (Hons.) programme. The 5th-year students lead these members and work under the supervision of the Chairperson appointed by the University administration. The committee has a Convenor, two Co-convenors, and two Advisors. At the University level, the Committee busies itself twice every year in conducting the bi-annual Intra-University Moot Court Competition, a Competition which forms the basis of selecting students to represent the University at both National and International Competitions.The Committee also undertakes to educate the fresher batch every year regarding the nuances of mooting, conducting at the start of the year a three-day detailed orientation programme and at the end of their first semester, a competitive inter-Section Freshers' Moot Court Competition.Apart from maintaining a strong internal mooting structure, the Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting annually, the NLU Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition. To this extent, the Committee is proud to find itself entrusted with the organisation of a very prestigious and well respected moot court competition on Competition Law and Advocacy.
