The Moot Court Committee aims to create a professional skills culture in the students of the School of Law by training students for national and international moot court competitions. The Committee selects teams for competitions through a process of empanelment and open challenger rounds and has been responsible for 39 teams representing the School of Law in national & international competitions in the three years of the School of Law, Bennett University. In addition, the law school has formed its Moot Court Clinic wherein simulation exercises and training workshops by legal practitioners are conducted to build advocacy skills in students to become confident lawyers in the future by replicating the real-world environment of courtrooms. Students thus undergo rigorous training through a series of moot court problems which complement the theoretical courses being taught in the corresponding semester.
