Nixon as the first Chairman of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHA) in 1970. He was often referred to as the "Grandfather of OSHA" by President Nixon and served in that position for seven years. During that time, Robert was responsible for heading a government task force that planned the implementation of the OSHA Act and the eventual creation of OSHA.Today, Mark McGuire Moran is the President of Moran Associates, and the mission is still the same.
