MOREMAS is a multidisciplinary architectural studio with offices in NYC and Madrid. Founded by partners Paula Rosales Torroba and K Kim, the studio is involved with innovative research, residential, commercial, and institutional projects. K Kim is a licensed architect in California and New York. Mr. Kim has worked with influential architects and designers, including Roto Architects, Inc. in Los Angeles and Naomi Leff & Associates in New York City. In addition to working on exclusive residential projects, he was responsible for a modern dance school, movie production facilities and studios, and a collaborator on the Sinte Gleska University campus plan. Mr. Kim has taught architecture as adjunct professor at California Polytechnic University Pomona and Woodbury University. Most recently he was a Visiting Professor of Architecture at Mississippi State University. He has also served as invited juror at SCI-Arc, Pratt, NJIT, NYIT, Carnegie Mellon University, École d´Arts Américaines de Fontainebleau, the Rural Studio at Auburn University, and the Mississippi AIA Design Awards. Mr. Kim completed his post-professional degree (Master of Science Degree in Advanced Architectural Design) at Columbia University receiving the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize, and his Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University with honors. In 1992 he was the recipient of the Médaille de Bronze from the Académie d´Architecture and the Prix François Meyer-Levy from the École d´Arts Américaines de Fontainebleau in France. Mr. Kim is a member of the AIA.
