Education Management - Baltimore, Maryland, United States
The Office of Community Service (O.C.S) was created on November 14, 1993 to develop and implement dynamic community service programs that boldly address the educational, social, cultural, and recreational needs of the under-represented and the educationally "at-risk"youth in the Baltimore metropolitan area. By organizing multidimensional holistic programs; which involve university students, faculty, staff, community organizations, youth and more, the Office of Community Service positively impacts the Baltimore Community. O.C.S impacts the community by tackling educational, social, cultural and recreational problems of Baltimore's inner city population. While each of the community service programs vary in size, structure, and focus, they share the same goal of improving the educational challenges of Baltimore's urban population.
