Mothership is a concept designer, based in Rotterdam, that adds value to public spaces by cooperating with organizations an artists. The company produces, advices, supervises and mediates in art projects. Mothership is also often co-artist during projects. They work with a WOW-factor that doesn't just adds a unique character to each art project, but also asks attention by the public. Since the beginning of Mothership, which was founded in 2005, they have initiated more than 500 projects in the Netherlands and abroad. Professional guidance for artists and the business world is the foundation of projects, as aim to make people more aware and closer to art.At Mothership we make unique things which are very mediagenic, as our works are extremely visible. The art projects that we create are destined for everyone.Our most famous project yet being the worldwide acclaimed 11.000 m2 artwork ‘Horn of Plenty' by Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam in the Markthal Rotterdam.
