Motion Details
Motion is a film production house founded in 2009 by Đina Jakir and Barbara Vekarić. Our main goal is to make a groundbreaking content, tell beautiful stories that are vectors of curiosity and emotion, and to make every story look cinematic. All that while making sure everybody involved has a good experience and finishes a project with a feeling of fulfillment and happiness.From the feature and short films, branded content and music videos, we moved along all types of projects, big or small with ease. Our most noted projects are fiction films "Aleksi", "First Lady of Dubrava", "Mouth of Truth", "Nina, please" and minority co-productions "All Against All", "Deer Boy" and "Jure Grando". Our film projects have been featured at Berlinale, Sundance, SXSW and over 200 other film festivals, winning 27 awards to date, as well as screening on TV stations such as ARTE, Eurochannel, Croatian National Television, etc. Besides audiovisual work, Motion is responsible for organizing various events, team building sessions and film workshops in partnership with the University of Dubrovnik.
