Motive Unknown was formed by Darren Hemmings in 2011. The company's first client was a then-unknown band called alt-J, whose first album proceeded to win the Mercury Prize, BRITs nominations and more.Since then the company has built a reputation in the music industry for its strategic digital marketing, working on a multitude of chart-topping albums, award winning venues and festivals as well as directly with forward thinking artists and managers across their whole digital business.In more recent times the company has branched out beyond music, taking on clients in fashion, audio hardware and more.
