Motoria Sdn. Bhd. was co-founded by the late Y'Bhg. Dato' Ismail Bin Hashim and Tuan Loke Chong Tean; incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 on 27th December 1974 in the time of economic-infancy of the nation. As a notable community, political and business leader, Y'Bhg Dato' Ismail envisioned a modern society where Malaysian, especially the community of Penang would experience sustainable economic development and a progressive society with the introduction and the generalised ownership and used of motor vehicles. With this in mind, Y'Bhg Dato' Ismail, together with five (5) core members team established Motoria Sdn. Bhd. in Butterworth, soon business grew and a bigger business space was required, thus in 1978 we relocated to a corner unit of shop house along Jalan Chain Ferry, principally as a showroom, customer service centre and administrative office.Before long, business demonstrated significant growth with the need to provide to increased clientele; in 1980 we relocated to the existing business premise. From then on, we have acquired a piece of land adjacent to our business premises and expanded our service division and another piece of prime land catering and satisfying our ever-increasing customers.The business operation is supported by a strong 60 member force, well-trained, passionate and strongly-united Business Family led by the present Managing Director Puan Hayati Binti Dato' Ismail. The core business of Motoria Sdn. Bhd. today provides sales and services of Honda vehicles, repair and maintenance and sales of motor vehicle parts. Bearing the founder's vision in mind, Motoria continues to contribute to the advancement of the nation and society, and in catering to customers' demands and satisfaction for the next 20 years.
