Together with our team of associate chartered physiotherapists we are striving to offer the highest standard in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and related healthcare services to the South Dublin community.As Practice Principals here at Mount Merrion Physiotherapy & Health, we have developed a reputation for being able to effectively manage complex musculoskeletal pain. Lorraine and myself have each invested heavily in secondary and tertiary University level education and further continuing professional development over the 18 years we have each been practicing and educating.We have experience, plenty of it which we put to work for the benefit of our clients and associate physiotherapists. There are few pain conditions amenable to physiotherapy we have not treated, usually successfully.It is for this reason the vast majority of new clients who come to see us, have very complex pain issues. Normally they have been to multiple other physiotherapists and consultants before reaching us, often as a last resort. Having explored most other medical management approaches, their GP or consultant may refer the client to us for an opinion, or else our client reach us by word of mouth recommendation.Our integrated treatment approach includes advanced techniques in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, medical acupuncture (including dry needling) and pain management counselling. This approach allows us to effectively alleviate muscle, joint and nerve pain as well as restoring mobility, strength and physical function.Our success is based on over 35 years of combined clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, a thorough knowledge of the latest medical research and listening carefully to the needs of our clients.As chartered physiotherapists we are recognised by the Department of Health as first-contact practitioners so you do not need a GP referral to attend the clinic.Please call our reception on 01 2834303 to make an appointment with one of the team.
