Mr. DiElsi has a unique combination of over 25 years of commercial, operating and executive experience in the oil and gas industry with both large multinationals and smaller industrial companies, together with 15 years experience as an investment professional within private equity where he was responsible for investment thesis, financial performance, operational monitoring, growth strategies, capital project execution and exit. He has served as an operating executive and Managing Director within two major PE firms, an Investment Committee member, and on the Boards of Directors of over a dozen enterprises ranging from $100MM to over $2B EV, including refining/processing companies, alternative energy ventures, major marine terminals, shipping companies, midstream partnerships and entrepreneurial startups. Through Mountain Pass Energy, Mr. DiElsi now serves major PE and Infrastructure investment firms as an Independent Board Director, Operating Partner and Senior Advisor. Mr. DiElsi's diverse background provides an uncommon context for energy investments from both the industrial and investor perspective. His broad commercial understanding of the interdependences between segments of the industry enables him to transcend traditional silos of experience and informs a differentiated view. His practical execution expertise has been invaluable to many companies with development projects and operating challenges, enabling them to minimize execution risk while achieving the desired financial performance.
