As a child, I was fascinated with the Universe and on becoming an Astronaut. I attended the United States Air Force Academy to chase my passion, but quickly found fulfillment in engineering due to an internal drive to learn and solve complex problems. Enamored by the most technical and the fastest-growing engineering fields at that time, Computer Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute turned into my brief home and Intel Corporation my first employer.While working in Corporate America, leading larger teams and organizations helped me have a greater impact on people's lives and the communities in which they lived. It did not matter the function, whether Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and ultimately General Management, nor the location (I've worked in most of Asia and Western Europe in addition to the US), business has a tremendous impact on our society.Ultimately family (actually my 7yr old daughter at the time) called me to continue to lead businesses, but this time… close to home to be part of their lives and watch them grow. I founded Mountain West Consulting, Inc. to assist Charlotte & the Triad, NC and West Palm Beach, FL business owners in one of two areas:1) As an Outsourced VP of Sales and Business Development, I leverage 20+ years of global selling experience at Fortune 100 companies to help small to medium-sized businesses achieve their growth goals and strengthen our local communities.2) As a prior Financial Auditor at GE, I excel at quickly assessing the financial strength of a company by auditing key sales drivers to determine and enhance valuation. I have worked in M&A, completing deals from $10M to $1B+ at multiple companies and Private Equity firms.
