MouthoftheTyne.com is an exciting new local news website for the coastal area of North Tyneside. We want to give people at the coast what the established newspapers are abandoning – good quality local news, delivered promptly to your computer, tablet or smartphone. We're covering the North Tyneside coast area from Whitley Bay to North Shields Fish Quay, including Earsdon, Monkseaton and Cullercoats. MouthoftheTyne.com is new and we want to constantly develop and improve. To do that we need your input and feedback, so please don't be shy in telling us what you'd like to see on the site, or to comment on what we're doing! Who's behind MouthoftheTyne.com? Dan Entwisle. Dan lives in Tynemouth and is a broadcast journalist and a well-known voice on Real Radio North East's news bulletins. He's been involved with journalism for many years and has a passion for quality news reporting. Dan has been a military correspondent for a national radio network and has provided extensive media training for the Royal Navy. He's currently writing a book about the history of the Royal Navy's Invincible class carriers. Dan also has a passion for MG cars. Adrian Don. Adrian lives in Tynemouth and is a photojournalist. He's a former newspaper photographer and in addition to co-owning MouthoftheTyne.com he provides editorial photography for national newspapers and public relations. Adrian shares an interest in all things maritime and volunteers with Tynemouth RNLI lifeboat station.
