MOVAR is an inter-municipal company that supplies water, sewage, renovation and fire services to nearly 80,000 inhabitants in the municipalities of Moss, Rygge, Råde, Vestby and Våler in Norway.MOVAR was established in 1989 and operates one of Norway's most modern waterworks, and three wastewater treatment plants. The company organizes the collection of household waste, and is responsible for the operation of the regional waste disposal plant Solgård in Moss, as well as Vestby Recycling Station. The fire department, fire prevention department and the chimney sweep service, is located at the main fire station in Moss and fire stations in Rygge and Vestby.The company's administration is located in Rygge.
